Our car…. Boy, let me tell you. It’s not much to look at, but it is precious to our family, passed down from one son to the next. It’s a 2006 Pontiac and I wouldn’t sell it to you for all the money in the world. In the midst of passing it down to my last son turning 16, we realized it needed more than a little help, so we took to Byrd’s. They have been honest, fair and patient with the old bucket of rust (ok, it’s not that bad) and just kept plugging away at all the problems (there were many) until it was road worthy and safe for my son. I appreciate them so much. I would send my Momma there and I know they would take good care of her vehicle needs.

A year or two ago I took my truck to Byrd Automotive after some disappointing experiences elsewhere, specifically with Christian Brothers Automotive, who charged me way too much without even fixing the plethora of issues they caused by improperly cleaning my K&N air filter leaving some sort of oily residue saturated in it that destroyed sensors etc. Byrd fixed it quickly. They were nice to my dog and they were honest, upfront about the truck's problems, and fixed issues left by my last mechanics. I also previously asked Christian Bros to install a yellow top battery. That turned into a problem too. They gave me an older 2019 battery that was too small for my truck I found that out when it later failed, and Byrd figured it right out. Now I have a proper yellow top size and my truck works like new. Christian Bros left me with no way to get my kids to school. Byrd worked around my schedule so I could have it back and working in sooner than they originally promised. Their crew in contrast is very methodical, communicative, and responsive, making the whole process smooth and removing the worry for my wife. Plus, their pricing was more reasonable. I'm not the best mechanic myself, but I'm good enough to know when people are lying or incompetent and Byrd has always been honest with me. Highly recommend Byrd for their competence and integrity and solid repairs/maintenance.

I have been going to Byrd#2 for a couple years. The service is always timely, knowledgeable, & well done. They give a good explanation of the problem & stand by their work. Dropping off a car is convenient as they will provide a ride if necessary. I highly recommend Byrd #2.
