I feel the need to share with everyone the Byrd Automotive company in the heart of The Woodlands which is offering the best value I've seen in car repair. They charge slightly more than average, and I'm glad because I need better than average quality because I'm very picky about my car. I receive quality from Byrd that is heads and shoulders above most. Through volume I imagine they're earning a great return on their investment. I get free rental cars depending on the length of repairs, free pick-up or drop-off, and have lead mechanics conferring on my vehicle's diagnosis. Never had grease in my car, and my wife doesn't feel talked down to at all. I trust them. The place has been there forever - for a reason. I'm totally independent of Byrd Automotive. High Mike;The only reason I deleted the car info is there is a slight mistake on the license number. It was displayed as BXC 4255;the correct info is BXC 4275 for the Lexus and BXC 4274 for the Jimmy. You can keep them on record.I consider Byrd as the most dependable auto maintenance and repair facility with which I have dealt.

I have used Byrd Automotive for several years. I feel I can trust them to do the right things for my cars. They give great advice for service and don't recommend anything that is not needed. They are friendly and great to work with on normal services and repairs.

All I had was an oil change, which costs about $50. Even for such a small job, they still picked up and dropped off my car at park and ride. Because of their excellent service, I was able to get my car taken care of without taking time off. They were honest and professional.

I have used Byrd's twice. The first time was 3 years ago when my water pump went out in my Chevy Trailblazer. They were honest, quick and affordable. I most recently used them for my Chrysler 300. They checked it out and unfortunately my engine was toast. I informed them that I would probably just buy a new car, but that I come down and settle my bill for the diagnostics and to arrange towing the vehicle to a different location. Well they must have felt bad for me because they only charged me half of the diagnostic fee and only $75 for the towing. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a local mechanic.
